Huge few weeks of announcements for BUGS.
First off they will be supporting Grinspoon this October for their national tour.
That same month BUGS will be heading down to the Gong to play Yours & Owls Festival.
Finishing up their EP Tour with a sold out hometown show, Sweater Curse have just announced they will be supporting good mates WAAX on the national ‘I AM’ Tour this August.
Premiering last week, Good Boy have shared their brand-new single ‘A Waste Of Approximately 122 Million Dollars (Taxpayer Funded)’.
The song spits a frustrated message about the absurd, insulting and embarrassing marriage equality plebiscite in Australia. Recorded by Cameron Smith (Dune Rats, DZ Deathrays and Velociraptor) and mixed and mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring / Total Control), ‘A Waste Of Approximately 122 Million Dollars (Taxpayer Funded)’ is whip-smart and catchy-as-hell. And it comes with a brilliant new video.
Good Boy are also heading around Australia this December. Having spent the majority of 2017 touring, lets just say they are in the best form they could possibly be in. Catch Good Boy on the below dates. Tickets available here.
Infused with vitriol via singer Rian King’s incendiary lyrics, the new single takes aim at Pauline Hanson and right wing politics within Australia. “Fishing With A Shotgun is a dig at the disgusting, spineless leaders that run our country, the dismal state of Australian politics and the gutless idiots too dumb and stupid to say or do anything,” says King, “It talks about the helplessness felt by thousands of young Aussies.”
